Ava Grace Baldwin, a six-year-old girl from San Antonio, Texas, has been missing since September 17, 2015. Ava is believed to have been abducted by her non-custodial mother, Kathryn Ann Baldwin, following a custody dispute. At the time of her disappearance, Ava was living with her mother, who went by "Katie," after her father, David Hopper, had requested full custody. Kathryn has a felony warrant for interfering with child custody.
Kathryn Baldwin, who suffers from mental health issues and has a history of substance abuse, was reported to have taken Ava and disappeared shortly before Hopper was granted custody. Despite extensive searches, neither Ava nor Kathryn has been seen or heard from since their disappearance.
