John Darrell Neubauer, 46, went missing on February 24, 2016, in Kelso, Washington. On the day of his disappearance, Neubauer informed friends that he intended to swim across the Cowlitz River. He managed to get about halfway across before being swept downstream by the strong current. He disappeared into the water and was never seen again.
