Pauline Rourke, 31, disappeared from Fairfield, Maine, on December 12, 1976. She lived in a mobile home with Albert P. Cochran, a distant relative with a violent past. On the night of her disappearance, Rourke's 12-year-old daughter, Honey, overheard an argument between her mother and Cochran. The following morning, Honey saw her mother lying motionless in bed, but when she returned home from school, her mother was gone.
