Six-year-old Rex Hill went missing on May 24, 1980, in Palisades Reservoir, Bonneville County, Idaho, during a tragic boating accident. Rex was with his father, Larry Hill, along with Laddie Schiess and his 10-year-old daughter, Toni, on a fishing trip. The group, traveling in a 14-foot aluminum boat with four other people, encountered rough weather conditions that caused the boat to capsize about 100 yards from shore.
