James "Jimmy" Rogers, a 14-year-old boy from Hanson, Massachusetts, was last seen on October 18, 1981. He told a friend he planned to hitchhike to their house in Halifax, about 10 miles away, but he never arrived. Despite extensive searches, no evidence was found that he had secured a ride or completed the journey.
