Michelle Jakaitis, a 22-year-old woman from Massachusetts, was last seen on December 31, 1986, in the Rumford and Dixfield area of Maine. She had been visiting the state when she disappeared under unclear circumstances. Michelle was officially reported missing on January 16, 1987. At the time of her disappearance, she was described as 5'5", weighing around 120 pounds, with long dirty blonde hair and blue eyes.
