Jeffrey Lee Quick, 35, was last seen on May 23, 1998, at his residence in Tyro, Virginia, near Lovingston. On the day of his disappearance, Quick was outside his home while a friend, who had come over to play horseshoes, was inside. Shortly after, the friend heard gunshots but dismissed them, as it was common in the area. A black car had been seen pulling into Quick's driveway just before he vanished, and about 15 minutes later, the car drove away. Quick has never been heard from since.
