On May 23, 1998, a 35-year-old man named Jeffrey Lee Quick vanished from his home in the community of Tyro in Nelson County, Virginia. On that Memorial Day weekend, Quick was in his front yard on Campbell Mountain Road as his wife left to go grocery shopping. As she was leaving, she passed a black car turning into their driveway.
