Myron Joseph Rapacz, a 55-year-old man, was last seen in the Naknek area of Bristol Bay, Alaska, around August 22, 2005. An avid outdoorsman, Rapacz had moved to Alaska in 1984 to pursue a life as a commercial fisherman. He was the skipper of his own 32-foot gillnet fishing vessel, the Cory B. He was reported missing after a period of high seas in the region. At the time of his disappearance, he was believed to have been heading north from Cape Craig.
