Brian Wells, a 43-year-old man from Salem, Oregon, went missing on January 11, 2008, after reportedly falling from a cliff at Rocky Creek State Park, located just south of Depoe Bay. He had been visiting the area with his wife and a friend when the incident occurred around 6 p.m. According to reports, Wells fell into the ocean, and although both his wife and friend witnessed him in the water, he disappeared shortly after.
