The Coast Guard suspended its search at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday for Charles Thompson, a 41 year-old Sitka man who was reported overdue Sunday evening on a boating trip to Seven Fathom Bay Cabin.
Thompson last checked in with friends on Saturday at approximately 9:15 a.m. near Necker Bay where he was reportedly beachcombing in the areas around Seven Fathom Bay.
