Carlos Amaral, 43, was last seen on November 8, 2016, after he embarked on a fishing trip from Sandwich Marina, Massachusetts, alongside Dylan Amaral and Mario Fialho. The trio set out early that morning in a 23-foot vessel named "Dad Sea Cave" to fish near Race Point, Cape Cod. By 2:00 p.m., other boats fishing nearby returned to the marina, but the men on "Dad Sea Cave" failed to return as scheduled. When they did not arrive, a concerned friend reported them missing later that evening.
