In the spring of 2017, concern began to grow for the well-being of a 63-year-old man from Waterbury, Connecticut. Steadman Saunders, a Black man with a distinct presence, was a familiar face to those who knew him. He was of a medium build, standing at five feet seven inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds. He had black hair and brown eyes, and his appearance was characterized by the glasses he wore and a small mustache. Those familiar with him also knew that he walked with a noticeable limp. ...
