Elisabeth "Betty" Wagner, a 33-year-old woman, was last seen on September 15, 1981, in Coral Springs, Florida. She was reportedly leaving her apartment in a blue/gray 1972 Cadillac Eldorado, possibly heading north out of Florida via the Florida Turnpike ramp at Sample Road. At the time of her disappearance, she stood between 5'6" and 5'7", with short brown hair and blue eyes. It is unclear why she left, but it has been speculated that she may have been fleeing an abusive situation. Notably, Wagner may have had scars on her head, possibly from past blunt force trauma, leading to further questions about her safety before she went missing.
Despite efforts to locate her, no major developments have emerged in the decades since she disappeared. Her case remains unsolved, and authorities, along with the Coral Springs Police Department, continue to encourage anyone with information to come forward. As time passes, the hope for answers persists, with her family and investigators seeking to close this long-standing cold case.
