In April 1999, 41-year-old Robert Hugh Taylor, also known as Pete, left his sister's home in Norwood, Ohio, a city within Hamilton County, with the intention of seeing a movie. This was the last time any of his family or friends would hear from him. Prior to his disappearance, Taylor had been living in San Francisco, California, between 1997 and 1998 before moving back to Ohio. His sudden silence was out of character, and after over a year with no contact, he was officially reported as a missing person on October 4, 2000. The Clermont County Sheriff's Office is the investigating agency in his case. At the time he went missing, Robert Taylor was described as a White Caucasian male, standing at an imposing height of 6 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 8 inches and weighing approximately 300 pounds. He had brown hair and blue eyes. Taylor had several distinctive tattoos that could aid in his identification. On his upper right arm, he had a tattoo of a wolf howling at the moon. His left hand featured a tattoo of a scorpion, and his right thigh was adorned with a tattoo of an arm-wrestling scene inside a circle, which was itself inside an American flag. The circumstances surrounding Robert Taylor's disappearance remain unclear. He left his sister's residence with a simple, everyday plan and seemingly vanished without a trace. There has been no information released to the public regarding any potential foul play or whether he may have had reasons to leave on his own. The case is an ongoing investigation, and the lack of any significant leads over the years has left his family with unanswered questions. The overview of the case is a man leaving for a casual outing and never being heard from again, a scenario that has left a void in the lives of his loved ones who continue to hope for answers.
