Vera Schrader, aged 49, was last seen on May 14, 1964, in Ojai, California. On that day, she did not return home to the 200 block of El Camino Drive after work, which was highly unusual. She left behind three children, and her disappearance was completely out of character. Her ex-husband and family could not think of any reason why she would have left on her own.
