On the night of September 17, 2023, 37-year-old white male Thomas James Brannon was fatally shot near the 200 block of Hickory Avenue SW in Cullman, Alabama. Emergency responders transported him to Cullman Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Cullman County Coroner confirmed his death and indicated that an autopsy would be conducted by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.
