Robert Gilsey, 57, was last seen on October 6, 2006, off the coast of Portland, Maine. He lived on his sailboat moored at Diamond Cove Marina. On the day of his disappearance, his 23-foot powerboat, *Ripple*, was found adrift near Cape Elizabeth. The boat’s engine was running, the throttle was open, and it had run out of fuel, but Gilsey was not on board. There were no signs of distress or evidence of foul play found on the boat.
