Joshua Hosmer, 40 years old, was last seen on May 31, 2016, at his sister's residence in Sacramento, California. Early that morning, he left the residence with two unidentified men in an unknown vehicle. A few weeks later, Hosmer called his mother from Tennessee, stating that he had been abandoned and needed money. His mother sent him money, but that was the last time anyone heard from him.
Hosmer was not working at the time of his disappearance and led a transient lifestyle, often traveling around the country to attend Grateful Dead concerts. He had a metal rod in his ankle and a coral implant in his skull due to a past car accident. Joshua also had several distinctive tattoos, including a Grateful Dead logo and a deer head on his left forearm.
Authorities have not been able to gather significant leads, and his case remains unsolved. The FBI and local law enforcement are still investigating, seeking any tips that could provide clues to his whereabouts.Last Seen: May 31, 2016
