Jovanny Hector Puga, an 18-year-old from Green Bay, Wisconsin, was last seen on February 25, 2017, in the Milwaukee and Glendale areas. He disappeared under suspicious circumstances, and his family reported him missing in March 2017. Jovanny had distinctive tattoos, including a bull's head on his right wrist and the word "illmotion" on his left wrist, along with a scar on his right forearm. At the time of his disappearance, foul play was suspected.
In 2018, three men—Shawn Leitner, Brandan Guyton-Denn, and Jaleel Schultz—were charged in connection with Jovanny’s presumed death. They allegedly beat him, forced him into the Milwaukee River, and prevented him from escaping. The suspects then left Jovanny in the river, and his body has never been recovered. A fourth individual, Emma Brud, was also involved and was charged with aiding the crime by disposing of Jovanny’s belongings.
By 2019, all four suspects had been sentenced, with Schultz receiving the longest prison sentence of 10 years. Despite these convictions, Jovanny’s body remains missing, and his case is considered unresolved. Authorities continue to investigate and hope to find closure for his family.
