Ernesto Gonzales, a 62-year-old attorney from Harlingen, Texas, was reported missing on July 17, 2017. He was last seen at his office, and the investigation soon focused on a family dispute. After an extensive search, human remains identified as Gonzales were found in June 2020 on property belonging to his nephew, Solomon Campos. Campos was arrested and charged with his murder.
