David Anthony Boykin, a 35-year-old from Bakersfield, California, was last seen on July 26, 2017, and exchanged text messages with family members on August 1, 2017, marking his last known communication. Boykin, who had multiple medical conditions and mental disabilities, functioned at the level of an eight- to ten-year-old child. He also had a history of drug use at the time of his disappearance.
