Setina Weddles, a 1-year-old girl, disappeared from Stockton, California, on January 4, 2018, along with her twin brother, Ren. Their parents, Aaron Ivan Weddles and Princess Dara Canez-Walker, were also reported missing with their children, including three older siblings. Five days later, the parents and three of the older children were found living in deplorable conditions inside a white SUV. However, Setina and Ren were not with them and have not been seen since.
The investigation revealed troubling details about the family's situation. The vehicle they were living in was filled with garbage, mold, weapons, and drugs, suggesting a chaotic and unsafe environment. The parents refused to cooperate with authorities, giving conflicting statements about the twins' whereabouts.
Aaron mentioned not having seen Ren and Setina since May 2016, months before their official disappearance date, while Princess claimed the children might have been kidnapped but did not report it at the time.
Authorities suspect foul play, particularly after an inmate suggested one of Aaron’s children might have died during a shooting incident in May 2016.
