Thomas "TJ" Nigro, a 31-year-old Army veteran, was last seen on January 5, 2018, in Franklin, Georgia. A witness reported picking him up while he was hitchhiking in Columbus, Georgia, and dropping him off at the intersection of Bevis Road and GBI Road in Franklin, close to the West Point Wildlife Management Area. TJ had planned to go camping with a friend in the area, carrying camping gear, including a black bag and a rolled-up sleeping bag.
