That Sunday evening, around 8:00 p.m., she departed, and her destination was unknown. At the time of her disappearance, Sonya was described as a white female, standing between 5'6" and 5'8" tall and weighing approximately 190 to 200 pounds. She had sandy brown hair and hazel eyes. She was reportedly wearing a green coat, green pants, and a white scarf. Her mother grew increasingly worried when she had not heard from her daughter for nearly a week.
