Robert McCabe, a 59-year-old man, went missing on February 25, 2018, after a boating accident near Key West, Florida. At approximately 6:20 p.m., McCabe fell overboard from a 27-foot cabin cruiser while traveling through the Lakes Passage, west of Key West. He was last seen wearing gray swim trunks. Despite immediate search efforts by the U.S. Coast Guard, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and the U.S. Navy, McCabe was not located.
