In the small town of Idanha, Oregon, concern grew for 37-year-old Corey Allan Waterman after he was last seen on April 7, 2018. Family members last saw Corey at their residence in Idanha. A witness later reported seeing him at approximately 1:30 p.m., walking into a forested area south of the town through the Frank’s Timber gate located on Church Street. It was not unusual for Corey to take long walks along the forest roads in the area, but he would typically return by late evening. When he did not come home that day, his family became worried and eventually reported him missing. At the time of his disappearance, he was believed to have been wearing brown pants and black boots. Corey is a white male with brown hair and blue eyes, standing at 5'11" and weighing around 170 pounds. He has several distinct tattoos that could aid in his identification. On the right side of his chest, he has the word "Crazy" tattooed. His right shoulder bears a tattoo of a clown with a skull and guns, and on the left side of his ribcage, he has the name "Arianna" tattooed. Concerns were raised that he was not adequately dressed for the weather conditions at the time he went missing. Following the report of his disappearance, the Linn County Sheriff's Office initiated a search for Corey. Deputies were dispatched to the area and actively looked for him. An extensive and thorough search of the area where he was last seen walking was conducted, but unfortunately, it did not yield any clues as to his whereabouts. Despite the efforts of law enforcement and the concern of his family and community, Corey Waterman has not been heard from since that spring day in 2018. The case remains a painful mystery for his loved ones, who are still hoping for answers.
