John Haywood Barreto, a 35-year-old man, was last seen on January 20, 1977. Barreto, originally from Lake Oswego, Oregon, had been in Miami, Florida, at the time of his disappearance. His family last heard from him when they wired him money in Miami. After that, all contact with him ceased.
