Melisa Sarai Romero Piedrasanta, a 23-year-old Guatemalan national, went missing on June 11, 2018, after crossing the U.S.-Mexico border with a group of migrants. Melisa had crossed the border near Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and was reportedly last seen in Kingsville, Texas, after being abandoned by her group.
