Javier Jimenez-Hernandez, 29 years old, was last seen on July 26, 2018, in Simi Valley, California. On that evening, he was involved in a hit-and-run collision on the eastbound 118 freeway near Kuehner Drive. His vehicle, which sustained damage from the collision, was later found abandoned about five miles away, near a trailhead between Cottonwood Drive and Yosemite Avenue.

After the accident, there were potential sightings of Javier walking near streets such as Evening Sky Drive and Yosemite Avenue, but he has not been seen since. He was wearing a short-sleeve flannel shirt and tan shorts at the time of his disappearance. Despite searches and efforts to locate him, no further trace of Javier has been found, and his case remains open. His family has had no contact with him since that night, and investigators continue to seek any information that might help resolve his disappearance.
