Opal Beatrice Fulks, a 22-year-old woman from Monticello, Indiana, was last seen on March 4, 1931, after giving birth to her third child, Barbara Annette Fulks. Her disappearance is shrouded in mystery, as there is little information about what happened to her following the birth. By 1939, her husband, Emery Fulks, filed for divorce, claiming that she had abandoned their children and that they had been separated since 1932.
