On a fall evening in 1963, a 16-year-old boy named Raymond G. Carey Jr. left his family's home on Daniel Boulevard in Bloomfield, Connecticut. It was about 7:15 p.m. on October 25th, and he initially told his parents he was going to see a movie. However, his plans for the night changed.
