In the autumn of 2011, 19-year-old Angel 'Ito' Garcia was living in Hartford, Connecticut with his mother, Laura, and his girlfriend, Omayra, along with her young son whom he adored. Known for being close to his family, it was uncharacteristic for him to be out of touch. In the month before he vanished, Angel had acquired a red Honda dirt bike that quickly became his prized possession, and he often spent his time riding it on trails throughout Hartford and East Hartford.
