David Spies, a 47-year-old man, was last seen on July 3, 1997, in Omaha, Nebraska. He contacted his brother that day, mentioning his plan to hitchhike to Salina, Kansas, within the next day or two. However, David has not been seen or heard from since that phone call. There are no further records of his arrival in Salina or any subsequent communication with his family.
