Steven Oldham, a 48-year-old crane operator, went missing on December 21, 2000, while working on a barge for Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine. At the time of the incident, Oldham was part of a project to dredge the river in preparation for the installation of a floating dry dock. The crane he was operating tragically tipped over and fell into the water.
