In the quiet early morning of August 1, 2002, in Winnsboro, Louisiana, 79-year-old Lewis Kennon walked out of an assisted living facility at approximately 5:30 a.m. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as a Black male, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 240 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
