Christopher Giauque, a 36-year-old man, was last seen on August 9, 2003, in the Spyrock Road area near Laytonville, California. Giauque, a resident of Salmon Creek, was reportedly involved in the cannabis cultivation business and was on probation for related charges. On the day of his disappearance, he went to meet an associate near the Iron Peak lookout to settle a substantial financial transaction.
