Beverly Diane Peoples, a 42-year-old woman from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, was last seen on September 1, 2003. She was spotted leaving the New Hope Baptist Church located at 18th Street and North Cleveland Avenue. Peoples was driving a blue 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo when she disappeared. At the time, her family did not report any known issues with drugs or alcohol, and there were no indications that she planned to be absent for an extended period.
