Cristian Alan Soto-Sanchez, a 23-year-old man, was last seen on September 23, 2016, in San Francisco, California. He had attended a concert at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium with a friend the night before, but after parting ways in the early hours of the morning near Bush Street and Van Ness Avenue, he disappeared. Cristian was 5'10" tall, weighed about 180 pounds, and had black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans, and brown Clark boots.
A distinctive feature was a tattoo of a QR code on his inner right bicep.
After the concert, Cristian reportedly went to his friend's home nearby before leaving around 2 a.m. to head back to his parked car in a garage. However, his car was found the next morning with his backpack containing personal items, such as his wallet, keys, and ID, left outside of the vehicle, but his cell phone and garage remote were missing. Cristian’s family and friends described him as reliable and not the type to vanish without explanation. His family, especially his brother, expressed deep concern, noting that he would never miss family events like his sister’s birthday, which was the day after his disappearance.
Although some speculated that his disappearance could be linked to mental health struggles, the case remains unresolved.
