Originally from Alberta, Canada, Samantha moved to Florida earlier that year to pursue a career in professional wrestling. She became romantically involved with wrestler Teddy Hart and trained under him, but her life took a troubling turn. Prior to her disappearance, Samantha was arrested twice for misdemeanor trespassing in February and November 2016, with her last known sighting occurring
after her release from the Polk County Jail.
Samantha’s family grew concerned when she stopped contacting them. She had promised her sister she would return to Canada after her wrestling training. Despite an extensive investigation that began in 2020 by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), there have been no significant developments in her case. Authorities continue to pursue leads and have interviewed individuals connected to her, but the circumstances of her disappearance remain unclear.
