David Hardy Jr., a 78-year-old man from Eunice, Louisiana, was last seen on July 8, 2017, near Interstate 49 and Broadway Avenue in Alexandria. Hardy, who suffered from Alzheimer's Disease, was following his son’s car in his own vehicle when he took a wrong turn. He was later spotted in Oakdale, Louisiana, but never made it to his destination. On July 10, 2017, his vehicle, a silver 2006 Ford Mustang, was found abandoned in Elizabeth, Louisiana, with groceries spoiling in the backseat.
