Turner Taber Jenkins, a 31-year-old man, went missing on January 18, 2019, while kayaking with a friend in Puget Sound near Bainbridge Island, Washington. During the early morning trip, their two-person kayak capsized between Restoration Point and Blakely Rock. While Jenkins' friend managed to swim to shore and call for help, Jenkins never resurfaced and is presumed to have drowned.
