A Disappearance with Few Public Answers
Ezequiel Bustos was 44 years old when he disappeared from Ellenboro, North Carolina, on May 15, 2017. The publicly available account of what happened is unusually brief: Bustos was expected to return home, but he never did. There is no detailed public narrative describing a final conversation, a destination, an appointment, or a sequence of events explaining what he was doing immediately before he vanished. The available case information specifically notes that the manner and nature of his disappearance are unknown. That absence of detail has left the case defined by a troublingly simple fact—Bustos was expected back, yet he did not return, and years later the available missing-person records still provide no explanation for what prevented him from coming home.
The Last Known Date in Ellenboro
May 15, 2017, remains the central date in the disappearance. Multiple missing-person listings identify Ellenboro as the place where Bustos was last seen or last known to be present. Beyond that location and date, however, the web results provide remarkably little information about his final known movements. They do not identify a specific street, residence, business, vehicle, workplace, or destination associated with his disappearance. They also do not identify who last saw him or provide a precise time for his last confirmed contact. For a case that has remained publicly listed for years, this leaves a major gap in the timeline. What is known begins and ends abruptly: Bustos was in Ellenboro, he was expected to return home, and after May 15 his whereabouts became unknown.

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
