On the evening of September 11, 2018, in Roanoke, Virginia, Jessica Day put her three-month-old daughter, Arieanna Renee Day, to sleep in her home on Hanover Avenue. Approximately an hour later, she returned to find the infant missing. The doors were unlocked, but there were no signs of forced entry. Conflicting Accounts and a Tangled Web
Andrew Terry, believed to be Arieanna's father, was arrested the following day and charged with illegal disposal of a body. He claimed that Jessica handed him the baby, who appeared injured, and that Arieanna died during the drive to his home in Blacksburg.
