A Quiet Night Turns Mysterious
On the evening of October 23, 2018, Samuel Claude Gilbert, a 46-year-old father of two, left his apartment in Raleigh, North Carolina, and vanished without a trace. His two teenage sons were asleep, unaware that their father would not return. Gilbert left behind his wallet, keys, and Chevrolet Tahoe, taking only his cellphone. Surveillance footage captured him walking away from his apartment complex on Fairstead Drive, heading toward Crabtree Valley Mall .

Gilbert was known for his dedication to his family and career.
