The Disappearance of the Pereira Children
On January 25, 2017, three-year-old Briana Pereira and her siblings, 13-year-old Lester Jr. and 11-year-old Roselyn, vanished from their home in Hialeah, Florida. Their disappearance coincided with the Florida Department of Children and Families being granted custody of the children. When DCF workers arrived at the family's residence at 2225 W. 60th Street to take custody, the entire family was gone .
Non-Custodial Parents Flee with Children
Authorities believe that the children's non-custodial parents, Lester Pereira Sr. and Rosa Martinez Diaz, fled with the children to avoid separation.
