A Sudden Disappearance on the Eve of a Milestone

Cory Christopher Schroeder, affectionately known as "Stretch" due to his towering height of 6'8", vanished on May 21, 2019, just one day before his 45th birthday. He was last seen when a friend dropped him off at the Avilla Grocery Store in Benton, Arkansas. Clad in a gray hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and sneakers, and carrying a black and red backpack, Cory's departure seemed routine. However, he never returned home and has not been heard from since.  

Cryptic Social Media Farewell

Shortly before his disappearance, Cory posted a message on Facebook stating, "Going to be leaving Facebook in a few days... Going on a new adventure." The meaning behind this post remains unclear, and he has not been active on social media since.
