A Quiet Morning in St. Charles

On the morning of January 15, 2019, 63-year-old Michael Wayne Waters departed his home on Broadmoor Lane in St. Charles, Missouri, at approximately 11:00 a.m. Before leaving, he left behind his phone, car keys, and a note bidding farewell to his family. His family, alarmed by these actions, reported him missing the following day. Despite extensive search efforts, no trace of Waters has been found since that day.  

A Man Battling Inner Demons

Waters had been grappling with depression and had expressed suicidal thoughts in the year leading up to his disappearance. His family was aware of his struggles, making his sudden departure and the contents of his note particularly concerning. At the time he went missing, Waters was described as a white male with graying brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5'11" tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds.
