A Mother's Sudden Disappearance

Erendira Villeda Flores, a 30-year-old Latina mother, was last seen on November 28, 2024, in Durham, North Carolina. Her final communication with her family occurred on December 1, 2024. Concerned for her safety, her family reported her missing to the Durham Police Department on December 13, 2024. 

Community Mobilization

In the months following her disappearance, the Durham community has rallied to search for Erendira. On March 29, 2025, family members, neighbors, and community leaders conducted a search of her last known residence, hoping to uncover clues about her whereabouts. 

Concerns About Domestic Violence

Erendira's family has expressed concerns that she may have been a victim of domestic violence. They have pointed to her partner, Jerónimo Morales, as a person of interest, citing past threats and his unusual behavior following her disappearance. Morales reportedly requested the disposal of Erendira's belongings and sought financial assistance shortly after she went missing. 

Ongoing Investigation
