A Troubled Past and a New Beginning
Eugene Francis Morski, known to some as "Frank," was a 45-year-old man grappling with the challenges of mental illness and addiction. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, Morski had also battled heroin addiction but was reportedly in recovery at the time of his disappearance. In December 2018, seeking a fresh start, he moved in with his mother in Columbia County, Florida. However, familial tensions surfaced, culminating in an argument on December 8, prompting Morski to leave the residence without his personal belongings, including his car keys.
The Last Known Movements
The following day, December 9, 2018, Morski was arrested in Jasper, Florida, for a minor trespassing charge. He was released from the Hamilton County Jail that same night. Before his release, Morski mentioned plans to travel to Atlanta, Georgia, despite having no money or personal items with him.
