On the evening of November 16, 2019, 28-year-old Christopher Allen Loupin was spending the night at the 4 Seasons Campground near Elm Creek, Nebraska, with his father, Eddie. They were contracted to work on a project at the campground and were staying in a camper on-site. That night, Christopher was reportedly acting erratically. Eddie went to bed around 10:00 p.m., but when he woke up at 1:00 a.m. to get a drink, he saw Christopher outside smoking a cigarette. Eddie told him to come inside and go to bed. By morning, Christopher was gone. He left behind his cell phone, wallet, and coat—items he would typically take with him.
The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into Christopher's disappearance. Despite extensive searches and inquiries, no significant leads emerged. Investigators considered various possibilities, including whether Christopher left voluntarily or if foul play was involved. They examined his past and relationships but found no definitive answers. The lack of evidence and the circumstances of his disappearance made the case particularly challenging.
Christopher's family has been deeply affected by his disappearance. His father, Eddie, expressed his concern and hope for his son's return, stating, "We miss you very much and we love you very much. We are all very concerned about you. I'm trying to leave it in God's hands that's all I can say." His mother, Christine, added, "I would just want to know that he is alright and just tell him that we love him and we would leave it at that."
As of the last update, the Buffalo County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate Christopher's disappearance. They have not ruled out any possibilities and are seeking any information that could lead to answers. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Investigator Brandon Brueggemann at 308-233-5223 or the Kearney-Buffalo County Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 308-237-3434. ...Read More
